Beverly Glenn-Copeland

Post by onthebandwagon » Fri Jan 24, 2020 8:38 pm

I searched the forum and can’t believe not one result came up for Beverly Glenn-Copeland, with that said I only learned of him this morning from a college radio station and have been listening to his “Keyboard Fantasies” all day. Such an all around beautiful album...really extraordinary. YouTube and Guardian article below.

Surprised to see this great album here. They have been known to perform around where I grew up so I was introduced to the music through my sister. I was extremely shocked when she said it came out sometime in the 80s, I was like "Oh damn there's all sorts of current (modular) stuff on youtube that goes for that vibe!"

Apparently we just missed him playing NYC in Dec! And he used to write for Sesame Street. That show got some pretty cool contributors.

Well that’s nice that he’s still performing... I could see the Sesame Street connect, he has a very gentle vibe. Do you know of any other “electronic folk” worth listening to?
