Bandcamp Finds

Post by MindMachine » Fri Feb 14, 2020 9:11 pm

Found some cool electronic (primarily) artists recently. Might be worth a check.

Mecanica Clasica - Vientos Electronicos (vintage Spartan electronics/musique concrete style)

Burnt Wurlitzer - Eridu and other Cities (great modular and treated guitar)

Neuland - Peter Baumann and Paul Haslinger

Rupert Lally - does all sorts of alternate soundtracks and imaginings for books and movies

Kl(aus) - 2 - homage to 1980's Tangerine Dream and a good job

Pulse Emitter - an old school Wiggler I believe. A ton of great stuff.
FS: SP-555 Sampler, Pedals, ASol SQ8 - CHEAP!!!

I found some too .. Panic Girl who is also half of Lucid Grain
- melodic over ambient pads with acoustic samples to open it out. (Modular but who cares how it's made..)
then I looked to see what else was on the Modularfield label (they are based in Germany)
and this is great too Emseatee - has an accessible poppy sensibility - fresh and airy.
And a darker pair Nathan Moody and HHNOI , fuck yeah.
What a great label. :sb:

Yeah, lots of great stuff - I met this guy IRL recently and bought the LP, but bandcamp is worth checking out:
