I have known Bill and Frankie (his wife) for decades. I used to be the sound man for the Blackouts, one of his first bands in Seattle. A stellar person and musician. The only bad trait he had was the ability to play a new instrument as soon as he picked it up with a proficiency that made you jealous. One of those guys that played in a ton of big bands with other famous people and never acted as though it was a big deal. He will be missed.
