Well now I need to see your bike!
I will take a pic tomorrow, as I am playing a gig in a park again.

Impressive! I am really appreciating the number of Distings in there, FWIW. Any go-to modes / patches w/ those these days?
Thanks. Yes, I really like the flexibility of those guys.
Presently they are in use as: Two stereo filters, one oscillator, a random switch register, a quantizer. And the EX is just playing multisamples.
Nice! I put a bunch of wavetable folders on an sd card, and am really enjoying the wavetable vco mode. Surprisingly (wait…why am I surprised?) good sounding. EX for multisamples sounds good, I am thinking of getting one for that mode, among others. Have fun!

Please do! Sounds like a great day. I'd come join, but that's way too far for me to ride.

Here is my bike with my Amalgamod case and a smaller case for mixer and batteries. The stands (on ground very far left) are strapped on the rear of the bike extending backwards. (Does anybody know why pics sometimes are upside down? It displays correctly when clicked on.) Keyboard in the backpack untill I get a longer case for it.

And then there is a pic during gig and one after.

Very cool that you can get all that in one trip on a bike. Hopefully y’all have better weather there than we do right now.

I assumed the pic was upside down since you’re on the other side of the world (sorry about the dad joke - it’s hereditary).

Should I replace the Lxd with a waveshaper (uFold) to make the Doepfer more interesting?

How do you gguys like the Tetrapad/Tete combo for sequencing drums?

This gets augmented sometimes with tablet and Microgranny. But works fine standalone.

Is it live or is it Memorex...

The forum code ignored the image's orientation tag when scaling it.

This photo is where Im headed, the link shows what I have so far. I use an octatrack for drums and samples right now, will be including an analogue rytm at some point as well, a few pedals, and the setup should be mostly complete( I also use a behringer td-3 for acid stuff).
Mostly I do industrial techno, breaky, dark sounds, with some EBM flavour.
Not fully set on this end goal, things keep popping in and out on it based on ideas I get and new modules I discover.
Advice is always appreciated :sb:

What do you use as batteries? I have an Erica Travel Case (https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1321982) that I would love to be able to run from battery power but just assumed it would be too much draw.

Your case should run close to two hours on one of these.

I'm assuming a chonky cargo bike... ;)

Edit:

I see it up-thread, it's one of those lovely retro butcher bikes, very nice.

Started eurorack with the idea of using the rack as a synth. Now making a big shift in the live performability direction.
Now: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1177255
Plan: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1329533

Planning to use it with ableton live+push2 (general management)+launch control xl(fx/volumes/sends/occasional gate sequencing). I already have the midi controllers+es9+laptop.

Still want the case to be able to be played with no pc hence the voltage block.

Any suggestions for more performability-oriented modules?
I want to have at least half the fun he's having: (already have the BIA, NE made me sold my DPO)

this 24u pair will kinda be my second performance case - its entirely generative, one 12u serge style patch programmeable sequencing built from 4hp ladik, ryo and doepfer building blocks with a few stalwarts like rcd/rcdbo and scm/scmbo to make an incredibly dense, powerful set of building blocks to build near any setup imagineable.

the other 12u is thwe voices for it to control - a sys1m and a bro1 as complete all in one voices, then the other 6u will be an antumbra atom, klavis twin waves and a buncha effects/processing like bizarre jezabel mimosa to get it akll sounding real sweet.

i'm hoping to get it shown as an installation art in some galleries or something and maybe even get cheeky arts funding grants or something to allow me top travel evenm further afield to show it...

My next case will be much larger so I don't run out of space! Thinking Doepfer Monster case with base to give me a solid 500+ HP for larger modules and sequencers/mixers.
