Looks nice and minimal! I just got an 0-Coast, which I plan to use for a live performance in December...totally loving it, and I'm actually seriously considering buying a second one!

Thanks polyoptics, and vox_babara. I'm really liking the 0-coast, keep finding new stuff on there too. It's my only synth now.

Two friends and myself will be playing live tomorrow, Sunday evening (6:30pm CET), in Hamburg, Germany, at this party. I'll give my best to do these fine instruments justice:

hey peoples, Helmeys looks about 4x126 right?and the second one 3x126, what PSU are you using for all those modules and do you know the draw?

just curious as i'm looking to get a similar case, looks portable/shallow enough but also a decent amount of HP :sb: but also current :hmm: I'm yet to decide which PSU rote for portability and enough juice

currently (pun not intended) at 4x84 and 1988mA, looking to got 4x126ish and up to at least 3A

cheers

Taking this to Japan for a performance in December. Was hoping to set something up in Thailand too, but with the death of the king (one-year mourning period!), that's not looking too likely now.

Patch cables are all stowed under the 96 hp rack.

hi Selektro,
my case is a vintage Zero Halliburton with 2 meanwell psu bricks providing 6amp of +12 together and 1.5amp of -12 (could use more on the -12) with 500ma on +5.
word. i'm totally juiced on the +12. its a solid case. not too heavy when loaded.
9u at 126hp. with almost 4inch depth.

Here is my rack. It's about half from kits or PCB/Panel type things.
I had a panel that connected to the Effectron but I'm redoing it now.
The MST Oscillator is also still 'in progress'.
I used to use my A4 and Machinedrum with this rig a lot, but lately I've been finding that less necessary.
Also not pictured, my tiny 42hp 'percussion' case. Also being re-done/work in progress. (the metal bits are kind of a botch job and I may replace the 1U row with Vector rails. Seriously why cant 1U tiles stop forking?)

Ok this picture looks like garbage. I'm going to take another one with my actual camera when I get back home.

extreme delayed thank you -

Im finally at the bursting stage and starting actually planning a bigger case build. Are your psu bricks inside with a IEC socket on the case or external?
i don't see any power modules taking up any HP which is what i want, how are you distributing the power post brick?

cheers

From last weekend. More or less been the same performance case for the last 3-4 years, with a few different modules cycling in and out.

I've used nearly every possible size of eurorack rig for live performance and studio work over the last four years. None of the setups ever really gelled with me in the way of a totally designed instrument-my Moog Guitar and Rickenbacker bass are two instruments that I resonate with so deeply that those unique slabs of wood are somehow mine in a metaphysical sense. Finally, I have landed on my modular setup that is as deep in connection to me as my Rickenbacker. This is the case that I use for literally everything. Solo, bands, improv collaborations, video, no endeavor is without this modular.

At a recent performance, using it to process video:

The Make Noise Teleplexer is a beautifully weird module. It truly must be experienced to be believed. I think it is mangificently quirky. When I'm doing video performances, one of my favorite effects is to set up some horizontal line generating functions (upper end of audio rate and much higher) and basically jam with them, using the Teleplexer to route the CV in an intuitively satisfying way.

Belated but the Monorocket is 4x120HP and 5,000mA PSU as per their site. I've been drawing slightly under 3200mA +12 with my current (slightly revised) setup which includes a high-power m/277 stereo tube VCA. The other case is 3x104HP and I'm using 2 Tiptop Studio Buss boards (2,600mA total) and pulling about 1600mA total on the +12 side. The Goike uses a Cincon external adapter and the Monorocket has a mondo internal power supply with a 3-prong IEC cable. Happy Holidays!

My EWI (wind controller) rig tonight at Yoshis Jazz Club in Oakland. It's set up with Atlantis as a duo phonic voice with braids as an additional voice to mix in. Playing some nasty Hip-Hop/Jazz fusion with the Kev Choice ensemble.
