AM8105 corrections

Post by chrissugar » Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:46 pm

Hi Rob

Built some time ago the AM8105 filters and I love so much their sound.
When I built my pair of filters I found some errors in the build doc, wrote them down in a notepad so I can mention them here for corrections.

- C8, C9, C10 in the BOM are 100nF but on the schematic they are 10nF. I checked the JX8P service manual and they are 10nF. Installed them and they work as expected.

- R34 & R35 in both the BOM and schematic are 68K but they should be 1K or the LEDs will not emit any light.

- This is not an error but a suggestion. C7 is 10uF but a 47uF would be better to lower the lowest freq that passes the filter.

those cap values may be there to increase self oscillation when resonance is set high
