I did not, but I intend to make the switch as soon as I can get ahold of a 1.87k tempco. Last time I exchanged emails with Rob he said he should have some to sell by ~March - I really need to follow that up. I did not build mine with the FINE control nor have I bothered to calibrate the V/Oct scaling yet. (I didn't see much sense in it given that I'd be swapping in the tempco in a matter of weeks.)

I'd like to use mine as a sine oscillator as well as a filter, a la Axxe, Odyssey and Roland SH-09.
:yay: I have a MKII Oddy and an SH-09 right here next to me. I have to say that the Oddy - mine has the 4035 'Moog' filter - makes the best kick drums of any monosynth I've ever owned. Something about that VCF along with the ADSR/AR...

I'd be interested in your thoughts on it once the Tempco installed!
Do you have any experience with the SEM or its filter? How does the 4023/AM8023 compare to the SEMs LP mode?

How do you find the 4035 VCF? I've been looking at the AM8035 PCB too.
Does it track well on the odyssey? How would you describe the character of it (besides 'Moog-y') and how do the Odyssey 4035 and the AM8023 differ and overlap in your opinion?

I think I saw in a thread that you also made a Sythasystem VCO, is that right?
I'm thinking about getting two of the Type A, or two Type B and making a an extra PCB to give the PWM and Saw outputs (VCO A in 14HP instead of 28HP).
How do you like the Steiner VCOs (if indeed you own one!)?

Cheers!

Yup, I got an email yesterday. He's been busy with his day job with no email access.

The Jup 6 filters are now back in stock, apparently. I'd ask him to reserve one for you if you haven't done so already.
If at first you don't succeed read the instruction manual.

Hi folks, a quick update from AMSynths...
The AM8060 JP6 VCF Module is back in stock but only 10x of them. I am catching up with reservations and then taking new orders. There will be 10x AM8109 modules available to ship from 27 May, once again no deposit reservations are being taken.

The Dual ADSR AM8705 is due to be launched in late May, just waiting on parts from our manufacturers. AM8005 Filter Cube redesign is complete and a new prototype will be tested in May using a much better panel layout - ready for June shipments. Available at last!

The AM8071 Diode LPF redesign is progressing well using a mix of slider and rotary pots, and push button switches to activate CV Lag and 5 pole mode. The AM8475 Athena C is a 4 pole LPF and simple HPF with ARP style sliders, due in July. This forms 25% of the Athena project, with Dual VCO, Modulation and a combined VCA/ADSR/AR following in 2H2011.

A completely new AMSynths Internet store will go online in June making it far easier to see and hear the modules (more professional photos and great samples on SoundCloud), plus online stock control and quick PayPal payments. Apologies for any email response delays, and don’t forget there is an online regular newsletter, just subscribe from the Home page.

i also got an AM8060 today and it's everything i hoped it would be. it sounds just as good if not "better" and cleaner than my jupiter 6. i ordered it last saturday and it arrived this saturday morning. the build quality is some of the best i have seen in euro.

i really can't say enough about this. its probably the nicest filter i've ever heard and Rob is a pleasure to deal with and professional.

I agree with the above coments.

Can't wait to see what comes next. The filter cube looks amazing.

Hi folks, a quick update from AMSynths...
The AM8060 JP6 VCF Module has sold out again, many thanks to everyone who has bought one. Final shipments go out this weekend.

The wonderfully smooth AM8109 JP8 VCF will be in stock again 10 June, I am taking reservations for first shipments.

AM8705 Dual ADSR will ship from 30 May, final testing with Doepfer gear is progressing well. Photos and audio demos will go online soon, this is a really useful module as the envelope timing can be set short or long.

AM8005 Filter Cube is on schedule for June shipments, last set of parts arrived today so we can complete the new prototype.

AM8071 Snowfall VCF will be available in late June. This is a big priority as its a great sounding filter and the panel layout is really going to be cool.

This! I've been excited about this for a while, bugging Rob about selling me a PCB set, etc. It ought to be excellent.

Also, how's that Ringwraith VCF coming along?

Bumpity. Just curious what the status is on the 8023 arp odyssey filter clone. Don't see any mention of it on the AMsynth site....

cool. i'm not much of a DIY'er, so was hoping a fully assembled module would be released. maybe if there were enough wigglers to get on board for a small run....

Rob was always very prompt whenever I've emailed him.

Maybe he's taking a vacation?
