Instantly recognized Patti's voice from Brave New Waves (CBC Radio) when I watched the new cut on Netflix. Damn I miss BNW, especially the Brent Bambury years.

Watched with my wife recently and I really enjoyed it. It held her attention, which is an accomplishment itself.

Vince Clarke is hilarious! That guy needs a TV show.

The music is great. Now I want to see the hardcore edition.

I haven't watched the theatrical version yet, but I bought a copy of it for a friend! :tu:

Thanks for the support!

IMO, it's really worth watching the theatrical cut. It's a lot better than the Hardcore Edition, it really is... I feel like if you watch Hardcore Edition, you know deep down that it's going to lose most peoples' attentions & that it's mainly a film for the "nerds"... and that was the point of it. But putting in the effort to trim all of the excessively nerdy stuff and boiling it down to a feature-length running time, really makes it into something that has a much bigger impact, IMO. And I mean not only for the uninitiated - even for the nerds, I think the theatrical cut will come across as a much stronger film than HE.

So I just found this on Netflix, and while it's still great, and I LOVED the Hardcore edition, the narrator change kind of irked me. Something just sounded forced about it. I felt like the British guy's voice was more natural and authoritative (and this is coming from an American ) Anyway, still very happy to see it made it to Netflix.
