Really looking forward to this. I'm planning my first modular and this might push me in....full on.

I'm still annoyed that I missed out on getting the Hardcore Edition. :bang:

I'm guessing there aren't any other options to buy it in the future?

Heheh, few days I had exact same feelings (Christmas in July)! Came across Devo's 2013 Something Else for Everybody then 8_)

I vaguely recall having to select between 2-DVD and BlueRay, put that in the title and email it back (I selected BlueRay), and as a pre-order IndieGogo contributor I would automatically get the hardcore edition. That last bit I'm just crossing my fingers that it's true. Let me know if that sounds wrong. Very excited to see it!
Ah, awesome. I can't wait to watch all four hours in BluRay glory. :tu:

Question: are the 'handmade boxes with extended interviews' still a thing and are they shipping later?

ah. so those of us just finding out about the doc are out of luck then.

Seems sort of a waste to have so much material be seen by so few. I hope it becomes available for viewing in some form.

Maybe a second run of the 4 hour cut, barebones with no other frills?

I guess they had to have some cut off date but agree that it kinda sucks for peeps only finding out now...

When the madness dies down perhaps email them asking if a future run is planned?

Just wait a few months. A few will pop up on the BST subforum, I predict.

EDIT: a new run would be a slap in the face of everyone who ordered. It's called Limited Edition, it should stay limited. 8_)

As a preorder-er I wouldn't mind more people having the opportunity and IDOW making more cash. YMMV

Its all academic anyhoo - the theatrical version is the only one available!

@solvent in case, i just want to mention and point out that I sent you a pm like you had requested on april 30, 2013 that stayed in my Outbox and never went to my Sentbox. The messaging system has always been a little :hmm: so I just want to play it safe. I want my IDOWHE :tu:

Obviously you didn't read the full text so I'll keep it short:

Hey captain try too hard, I was referring to a different past thread and simply (pointing it out on the latest active IDOW thread) trying to make sure my pm on april 30 was received.

No one will have received theirs yet - I started another thread to address this ("Aug6 shipping update") but here's the jist, below. I've got the truck coming this afternoon:

Hi... I know a lot of you are watching your mailboxes for your IDOW shipment, so I wanted to explain what is happening. We shipped out some, but the Canada Post shipping costs were killing us, so we've opted for a service that will ship our goods out via USPS. I've got a truck scheduled to come pick up the motherload early next week, drive it all down to the US and ship from there. Based on this, it looks like the vast majority of orders will be received mid-August for North American orders, late-August for International orders. I hope that this post doesn't lead to an outcry of it being a "delay," because it is still in line with our Shipping Update post (see link below). OK, back to the grind...

http://idreamofwires.org/shippingupdate

PS if anyone in Toronto is anxious for their goods, I am totally happy to arrange a pick up. I'm in the Junction/High Park area

thanks

Jason
