True story:

I received my copy in the mail on a really stressful day a couple of months ago. Immediately took the dvd out of the envelope, and went straight to the dumpster to throw out the envelope. Went back to my apartment and didn't realise I had thrown out the dvd and kept the envelope... not until a few days later that is. :bang:

So if anyone's gotten tired of their IDOWHCEDVD by now. Sell it to me! :tu:

Really want to watch this, it will be available on Amazon from 9th December for £22.
Going to ask for it as a Christmas present from a friend, should make Christmas day a bit more interesting than usual.

Amazon have just gone back on there availability date, gone up from the 9th to the 16th, I get the feeling that this won't see the light of day on Amazon.

Actually, they had it and it very quickly sold out. I think most of it was sold in pre-orders in fact. They've re-ordered.

There are a lot of other options for ordering it, though, even in the UK... Any particular reason you want to get it from Amazon?

No, none really, are there any other places in the UK where I can order it from?

It is taking a while, very sorry. I plan to email all of the people who ordered that before the end of the year, with an update.

Thank's for that, I'm in an awkward position now, I think my friend is getting it for me for Christmas, but not entirely sure, I'll have to ask her I suppose.

My God ! That was long ! Didn't get out of bed this morning, only to collect the post and IDOW was there, so went back to bed and watched it !
Best bits for me were Lori Napoleon, and her switchboard synth, what was she thinking about ? I like people like that, they are inspiring.
I started my working life with Plessey Electronics in telephone exchanges during the late 60's, I can remember taking home lots of old redundant GPO equipment, wish I had it now. I remember the telephonists rooms, full of girls plugging patch cords. Magic times. Also, I worked on the first digital telephone system here in the UK, System X, I can remember hauling the racks in, it was also a total failure !
I likesd what that guy said about Buchla...."if he shit in a box it would sell" !
Would liked to have seen Buchla in there somewhere, Wendy Carlos was conspicuous by her absence, was I surprised though.....no, good old Wendy.
