For those who ordered the reprint DVD will the orders be shipping straight away or is there some manufacturing time to wait for?

I ordered basically the day the reprint was announced but I'm in the UK.

Thanks for the order! We have stock on hand. After the incredibly long wait times on international orders from the pre-order shipments, we've switched over to USPS on all new orders, with the exception of Canada (via Canada Post). International delivery times are much shorter now, for the most part, so I expect you'll receive it soon. USPS tracking #s are available for all new orders via email request to info [at] idreamofwires [dot] org

thanks

Jason

Thanks for ordering. It definitely would've been sent within days of your order being received. International shipping times vary though - typically 2-6 weeks, but on some rare occasions, up to 8.

Hopefully you'll have it soon!

Mine arrived last week (to the UK - I ordered the day the second run was announced). Have watched Part One and about 30 mins of part two - for some reason my wife doesn't want to watch it with me.

It's really good. Much more professional than I was expecting. Nice to see lots of info about Moog that isn't just about the minimoog. Also nice to learn more about Buchla. Definite pro-Buchla bias in the interviewees I think - not that that's a problem.

Only negative comment is that the narrator's tone isn't quite right. Sort of too serious and too BBC-ish. I don't know if the film needs that much 'gravitas'. Stuck out a bit - slightly detached. 'Geeky enthusiasm' might have been more appropriate. A very minor quibble though. Really interesting and well made overall.

So count me one of the people who's pleased it was reissued.

As soon as I got my copy I called my friends and we through a spontaneous synth party movie marathon, well into the night. We all really liked the film, thank you and well done.

Just received my copy last week, and had a great time watching it with a couple of friends. My only complain is that it was too short. The perfect format for this would be a daily soap opera, and it would be great if this could be made into something like the 11 679 episodes of Days of our Lives. On a more serious note, there was mentioned a DVD-R boxset on the Indiegogo page, containing full unedited interviews, plus hours of bonus content. What about releasing these as a pay per view channel where you could pay to see each interview?

Ha - cheers for the enthusiasm!

We are most likely going to do some kind of release of further Extended Interviews.

This will be different from the DVD-R boxsets though, which we've been working hard on lately... we can't mass-release these and are not going to be offering them again. Basically compared to Extended Interviews the DVD-R boxsets contain a large selection of the full unedited interviews... These will not for wide release for a # of reasons.

Got it, watched it, enjoyed it.

I would have liked to have seen more performances, people patching live, perhaps even talking about some of their ideas and processes. Perhaps this is a reason to purchase the general release as well.

Mine arrived last week, after a little Paypal-related doziness where it ended up shipping to my old address, 700km from my current address!

Watched it yesterday while achingly hungover and unable to do anything else.

Methinks I'll watch it again when I am in less pain.
