Hi there,
we are concentrating now in a 'breaktrough' compatibility that could really make the RC1 fly... native MIDI over bluetooth low energy.
The standard is already available into the Apple world and it's gaining shares also in Android-town....

We are available in sharing the comm protocol that, with PD or MAX, should be easy enough to implemtn!
Are you interested in that????

(inceidentally is much more efficient, thus quick, than OSC!)

Hi there!
We support MIDI over BLE as specified by Apple in their open document.
We tested the RC1 with several iOS softwares and it works great. Now, before pushing this feature I would like to test it with the new korg and roland stuff..... I check this Buetooth MIDI connect.... never heard about it!!!!!!!

Thanks!

I know this module has been out there for a long time and it seems to be the only one in it’s class as a bluetooth controller. I have the chance to buy one; but, would dearly love to be able to read up on it before buying. So far I have not been able to find any documentation/user’s manual or guide on SoundMachines website, or with any retail store still carrying the module.

Does any one have any documentation for the RC1?

Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath for any semblance of support or interest from Soundmachines. It's been over a year since the people dumb enough to fund the kickstarter to be unwitting beta testers for the very shonky 'flagship' 'product' Arches last had any of its numerous issues even acknowledged and 100x of us paid €800 for that privelidge...

Thanks for the reply, erstlaub. I guess I should maintain buying distance as well as social distance from the cats. I tend to shy away from KickStarter projects except from those that deliver like Paul at Synthesis Technologies. I have been burned on five costly projects where nothing has been delivered and updates and communications just stop. I am not averse to risk; but, I dislike dishonesty. I have received repayments through 2 legal actions; but, still.

Thanks for adding the listen to your “The Long Shadows in the Stones”. I really enjoy ambient and self generated music.

Thanks again.
