Will IFM Fourses expand sonic possiblity?

Post by jimmie » Fri Feb 08, 2019 5:45 am

I now have 2 Swoops, 2 Denums, Dunst and Mr. Grassi. I'm wanting a Fourses but at the same time wondering if it would drastically extend sonic possibility - more than combination of swoops and denums. If adding foruses is more like an extension of the swoop+denum and not giving me something very different, I may get wave folder or some other very different oscillator... any opinions appreciated!

Drastically. I have 3x Fourses and the cross modulation and feedback possibilities are great fun.

You mult the outputs and patch them back into the inputs and 4 VCAs.
I like to use a Cold Mac as a tool, cause I can re patch the Fourses back into itself while performing logic functions, wavefolding, rectification, crossfading at the same time. Highly recommended.
Order out of nothingness.
