Controls catching the wood

Post by wavecircle » Sun Mar 08, 2020 10:50 am

I ordered a very nice PB2 on here and received it last week. Like everything I have bought which is CL, I am slightly annoyed with the build quality. On this one, no soldering needs to be redone, which is a first, but some of the controls catch the wood when turning. The holes simply haven't been drilled in the precise place and it's creating friction went turning a pot, resulting in an inconsistent and annoying response.

Does anyone have a simple solution to this without dismantling the thing? I am guessing a gentle filing/sanding might do but I don't want to fill it with dust.

Are the “questionable build quality” units built by P or Patch Point?
