stuber DDD anticipation station

peter is posting on ig that the DDD build of stuber “works” so presumably it’ll be available soon!

i don’t know much about this instrument and would love to learn more. how will this differ from other DDDs? my understanding is it has resonating/self oscillating filters and a rungler instead of srine/fyrall “operating systems”

anyway i’m excited about this production and want to learn/see/hear more and i bet i’m not the only one...

The ddd b/r/and line is completed with stuber.
A full surfboard would have all three including fyral and srine...

"three guys vocal technique" is a formal extension of Beck's "multivoice." Consider trying it in your next project. The first guy is a normal announcer. The second is a weird or gruff voice, something to add texture. The final guy is secret, a whisper, something to add mystique.

Waiting for the first Patch Point built DDD Stuber to be shipped next week, very excited to pair it with the Rolzer I also ordered from Berlin!

I don't think the DDD "combo" version is available yet, Peter mentioned it some weeks ago as a future project as I understand it.

Just received the Stube. Great fun filtering anything and everything. Can be controllable, or chaotic with a few patches. Got the banana version, so some plugs and Pomona's working together should help control the chaos when needed. Still not sure how the jacks next to the button work, but patching anything to everything is a riot. There is a red light.

I just got my banana Stuber in.

This was probably the most nervous I’ve ever been buying an instrument. It took approximately 3 cables to turn that nervous anxiety into a grin that hit the floor!

Probably not I think the right side of my Stuber is messed up now. I need to try a few more things but it’s not looking good

I dont think you are missing anything, just that the others, srine and fyrall had speakers underneath and i suspected the stuber didnt or maybe all the new ovals are missing them now??

According to the info i have found all these ovals have androgynous patchpoints so any node can be in or out.

when I had the fyrall I also patched everything to everything from ciat with no issues.
Now I have a stuber and have patched everything to everything between coco plum and stuber, rollz and Sidrax,so far with no issues.
has anyone asked Peter?

I’ve been talking with him regarding my issues! I can mention it.

I think anyone should be safe though. My issue seems to be related to grounding. I’ve had a lot of issues with the instruments in this crappy old house I live in because of that

Yes, would be great to know for sure.
The only thing I wouldn’t plug to the stuber would be the yellow outs from the plumbutter.

Good luck getting it sort it, Peter is always super helpful.

It’s funny you say that, the issues started after I patched the yellow out from coco in! I patched that to the divider and proceeded to patch from there everywhere. Maybe that’s the culprit ?

I still have honestly no idea how it works or if that was even doing anything technically correct though.....
