i'll be posting more as time permits, but i've been documenting my first steps w/ the basic setup of sidrassi & cocoquantus. this particular track features assistance from an octatrack. nothing special, useful, but a somewhat successful improvisation w/ these instruments. i threw an octatrack into the mix for mild sampling & to spruce things up a bit from day one's seemingly never ending haters rip.

Nice, I can't wait for the CQ to get here!

I'd like to get to know you but I haven't got the time,

fantastic pascal! I love that entire kiosk set you have on soundcloud. Came close to getting a kiosk several times prolonging my cl delve until I couldn't bear living w/out a cocoquantus any longer.

the way kiosk builds up as a complete instrument still amazes me, I want to find some time and map the sidrazzi nodes (spikes) so that I can patch more precise between the coco and the sidrazzi, until now I use the Pressure out of the bars to send control signals to the coco oscillators and change the mod.

nice thread more audio please

Somehow I missed this thread. pas incredible work Pas! It's incredible to hear the differences between each user and the Sidrassi. Really digging "Day 3a", the watery chirps around the 5:00 mark :hail: . Glad you are enjoying it!

From a while back, lots of Tetrazzi. A bunch of the percussion is actually Tetrazzi sampled into / mangled by a Machinedrum. I'm a big Ciat-Lonbarde fan and very happy to see Peter's instruments getting more popular.

ENJOY!

This set's mostly Cocoquantus and Sidrazzi with Serge and (a little Kyma) throughout. The last track is just Serge/Kyma, though, and different from the rest.

I post my cocoquantus stuff on pugix.com. Note the tag cloud now has cocoquantus as the most tagged.

Slight edit of three separate improvisations using cocoquantus, sidrassi, dl4, & octatrack.

A fellow wiggler just received the last of his Ciat-Lonbarde order in yesterday.
He's got a cocoquantus, a plumbutter, two sidrassis, and a tetrazzi now I believe!
I blame him for my cocoquantus lust...that thing is literally the most fun I've ever had with an instrument of any kind. I sat down with one for about 20mins and was creating some lovely rhythmic crunchiness.
I'm hoping to get over there this weekend to explore the woodsy wonders. I'll mention this thread and hopefully he'll make some tracks to add.

Also, i have enough set aside and will be ordering a cocoquantus in the next few days - i already can't wait!

Thanks pascal, the octatrack is only used minimally in that piece...few recorder trigs & subtle effects, I've mainly been using it as a way to clean up certain parts & to keeps things fluent, tumbling. The secret weapon on a bulk of that last track was a line 6 dl4 especially for the percussive bits & stretching out some of those melodies in real time. I'm really pleased w/ how Recidivism turn'd out, I actually caught myself listening to it more than once haha...

Nice pas. I really like the third improv.
