I've posted this a couple other places but I'm starting to record again after a long time away

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself but I have a feeling I'll have another tape for next month
sh is the sound of data
bobo is the gesture

Recent convert to CL instruments - here's a piece I made with the Cocoquantas 2 last weekend. Samples from an ER-301 processed through the Coco into reverb/delay.

(And I just received my Plumbutter 2 this morning  )

Super nooby & basic, so leave a comment / ideas on how to improve :)

More CL centred jams, sequenced. They are all built around Coco, PB2 and Sid. This one also has a little Macumbista Benjolin.

Really love your performance. I often tend to make things too busy/dense quickly and need to learn about space/rest more. Bouncing ball on the sidrax barrs looks very effective - let me steal the idea  Also soundwise I may prefer PB version 1 to 2.

Many thanks it's much appreciated. Sonically maybe the sound is a bit cleaner on v2 (don't have a v2 to compare) but I've noticed the changes between Roolz Gewei & Plumbutter. The ideal instrument for me would be all the functionality of Plumbutter suburbs with Roolz Gewei Rollz & Deerhorns.

Slow is best, it helps having 2 plumbutters but also when playing with 1 I tend to trigger a lot of stuff using the gesture from the deerhorn.

Happy bouncing

One and a half hour of Cocoquantus, Plumbutter, and OP-1. Recorded in the evening after a long hike on a hot day. I started unpatched, with only an OP-1 phrase recorded into the Cocos as a starting point. Everything else developed naturally.

A cassette/digital album of Buchla x Cocoquantus slow motion mind soothers 'Space no Space' is now available to pre order. Couple of tracks up on Bandcamp to preview now.

If you like it I'd love you to buy it, but in the tradition of community, the first 5 people who ask here can have DL codes.

Thanks
Simon

An allusion to a place that exists only in our mind, in our senses, that is ever-changing and mutable, but is nonetheless real. It is delimited by the references of the horizon, by the physical limits, defined by light, and it happens in time.

Which patch was that, exactly?

This one:

viewtopic.php?p=1184866#1184866

3 and 4 roll brown to ultrasound green, 3 roll orange to ultrasound violet. Set roll rates slow and similar, ultrasound rate full CW, ultrasound CV 0 to start. Tune it in and go from there. I'm using it in the basic form in that video to get a straight rhythm, but you can also use it as a starting point to get something a lot weirder.

I did a podcast for Pool Berlin, it's heavy use of Peter's instruments plus a few extras.

A little Plumbutter 2 improvisation, with the Eventide H9 offering a little modest support!
Hope you might enjoy this.

Thanks!
