The new variable controls replace the fixed value customizable components. So virtually you are having multiple rollz-5 with this one single build.

And you have separated outputs (AVdog L/R, Ultrasound L/R, Gongue L/R, and mix L/R) so it is more versatile!

At first the Perspex look didn't appeal to me, the more of your builds I see the more I like. This is amazering. There a totally new word, if I had the cash it would be going east.

From what I remember it's just some switched potentiometers with different value capacitors attached so you can switch in different flavours of hairy's.
In my experience it doesn't really add much, roolz gewei, which is basically this board plus a couple of deerhorns had fixed values & didn't perform any less for not having the variety. I've built several rollz 5's and found it better to decide on a hairy value (in my case slower), complexity comes from patching. When I had plumbutters I tended to fix the speed of the rollz and leave the knobs alone, the joy of the rollz 5 is the 'uncleaned' pre plumbutter rollz circuits that were lost a bit on tidying them up for plumbutter, which is why Peter brought out rolzer and rolzer has the different hairy's incorporated.

I must admit though, this instrument is a stunner.

BTW I have a rolzer, I love it but sometime I wish the speed range were even wider.. much slower to faster

Small knobs are the cab switches, you can see the cabs behind. For the hairy caps in the different modules

Big knobs seem to be multi turn pots. Don't remember if there are "hairy resistors" on the Rollz-5 PCB, which are replaced with these, will have a look.

Is there nobody here, who has one and could describe what the additional things do exactly? Especially the pots.
