Ardcore Expander: short trig but still see the light?

Post by Alwaysnew » Wed Oct 23, 2013 7:36 pm

There's probably an easy fix for this, but here goes:

In a for-loop I do:

pinMode(pinOffset+i, OUTPUT);
digitalWrite(pinOffset+i, HIGH);
digitalWrite(pinOffset+i, LOW);

to send a fast trigger out. If I put a delay between the HIGH and LOW I'll see the LED blink for that particular output, but I don't want a delay, I want the pulses out to be as fast as possible.

Is there a way to make the LEDs light up a bit longer that the time the fast trig is on the out jack?

Pretty sure they are hooked up directly to the same pin, so if you need the pulse to the that short, you may be outta luck...

Hows the programming going otherwise?

I think I have found a way around this problem! Need to double check it though.

The programming is going fairly well and I think I'll have a multi-mode clock divider/step-through sketch for the expander finished quite soon.
