Program with three clock dividers for the Ardcore Expander

Post by Alwaysnew » Sat Oct 26, 2013 12:36 am

This is my first version of a compound clock divider sketch for the expander:

https://github.com/Magnus-G/Ardcore/blob/master/Clocks

Feed a clock in "Clock in" and set A0 to select one of these programs:

Cycle Program
-----------------
Stepping through 0-7 outputs with a trigger on each clock in.
Set A0 to full CCW.

Halves Program
------------------
Clock goes out each time on output 0, every second time on 1, every fourth time on 2 and so on.
Set A0 to noon.

Divider Program
-------------------
Clock goes out each time on output 0, every second time on 1, every third time on 2 and so on.
Set A0 to full CW.

Drum Program
-----------------
Inspired by Grids by Mutable Instruments

There is a 1 second signal as the program is changed.

Any comments or feedback is welcome!

And now updated with internal clock if A1 is not fully CCW (it then only reacts on "Clock In" trigging)

I just received my Ardcore expander today and loaded this sketch. This is fantastic. The perfect companion to my Rene! Thank you for this!

Thanks! I have now updated it to contain a fourth program that produces drum patterns (a bit like Grids but with 8 outputs). Take a look at the code and add your own patterns in the drum matrixes. Let me know if it's useful and I'd love to create a drum pattern library so upload yours!
