uTune question

Post by hemeroscopium » Sat Apr 27, 2019 8:09 am

Hello,

i have question regarding uTune. Can it do custom voltage tables for tunings? (similar to er-101). I have synths that do not follow any kind of "normal" standards like 1v/o or 1.2v/o or hz/o but i can measure precisely which V numbers is what note.

I'd love to use any kind easier than er 101 sequencer for quick melodies & stuff.

Hi,

µtune has a 10point VCO calibration. This could be used to create 1.2V/Oct easily. Just set the 10 points to multiples of 1.2V, eg: 1.2 , 2.4, 3.6, ...

So not possible for each inividual note, but this should get you close to ideal.

For oscillators that have a linear V/Hz response, there is also a dedicated V/hz mode.
