Powerarp with Polysix 61

Post by sgariplerden » Fri May 10, 2019 5:35 am

If I am correct, the powerarp function allows to record a sequence of up to 128 steps on a single key and then transpose it. But compared to Polychord which allows to record a chord by key, Polyarp is just a saved sequence on a single key. Am I correct that we can't have several saved arpegiator sequences on multiple keys ? Many thanks for your help !

Hi

Powerarp allows you to record a single sequence. (The maximum number of steps depends on the synth, which you have not specified).
Only the SH-1oh1 mod allows multiple sequences, Juno-66 and ModyPoly do not.

Polychord allows you to assign a different chord to each key of the keyboard.

You can now use powerarp to play a sequence of chords.
