Any news on the param expander ?

Post by fredke » Sun Jul 12, 2020 8:57 am

Hi. I'm interested in the uTune, because I'm looking for a quantizer (though a more basic one would suffice) and also a MIDI interface with auto tune.

As a MIDI interface, I own the Kenton Pro2000 MKII, which is great, except it lacks VCO auto-tune. So I'm considering replacing it with the uTune, even though the latter would be more expensive. Also, I would need expanders, because I sometimes max out all 8 outputs of the Pro2000.

Which brings me to my question: will the Param Expander ever be available? It would save me much money, because I only need more outputs, not more inputs.

Thanks.

It is planned, but at this point I can not tell you an eta.

I would only give you 8x mid-res outputs you can use for velocity, gates or similar CVs. It would not be suitable for pitch-CV

Yeah, well, ok. It would equate (and actually surpass a little) my Kenton Pro2000 mkII in that respect.
