Hi, very simple. Just choose an unused CV-out and configure it as "Velocity" and choose the velocity source from another channel.

Example:
Channel 1,2:
Midi in channel 1
CV-out: pitch
Gate-out: Midi gate

Channel 3,4
Midi-in channel: OFF
CV-out: Velocity
Velocity from: channel 1 (for channel 3) and ch 2 for channel 4

If you install firmware 2.06, you can also see the velocity output as a bargraph in the main menu.

thanks for the reply,

wouldn’t this be reporting the velocity of an incoming midi signal?

i’m wondering how to affect the velocity of the midi signal going out of the utune. i can only get a 0 or 100 velocity to register when sending midi OUT.

also i only have two channels.

thanks again.

Very sorry, I misunderstood your post.

Currently the outgoing velocity can not be adjusted. We already have this on the TODO list and it will be implemented eventually:
