Bastl Granpa & Spa panel question

Post by whyterabbyt » Sat Oct 27, 2018 5:55 am

Has anyone here fitted one of the Magpie combined panels on the DIY version of these modules?
If so, how did you deal with the fact that there's no screwhole for the post on the Spa board?
Im finding that there's not enough rigidity compared to the Granpa side, since its only anchored via the jack sockets at the bottom; its easy to inadvertently depress the top of the board with relatively light pressure on the Spa's knobs.
Is there a specific reason this panel doesnt have the screwhole that the original wooden panel did?
"Did I spend $3000 on a modular synth just to later find out it's made with a bunch of digital junk? Isn't integrated circuits basically a digital component? How analog is my ANALOG modular synth, really? I feel betrayed right now"
