Hi,
I've created this forum so that we could build a knowledge base, for you to share concerns or experiences regarding Antumbra builds, ideas about modifications, and for me to share news about upcoming modules and stuff.

Check out the new website, where you can find documents about my modules here

From me if I have them in stock! I currently have some FADEs, but will order ROT8 and KLIK too, soon.

if you chain more that one 6mix, do the outputs of each module that precede the last module in the chain still work, like an fx send?

thanks :ninja:

Hey, no, cables inserted in the outputs break the chain, but you could use a short stackcable and route it to the next input...

Pots for 6mix

Post by Halfgeleider » Sat Jan 05, 2019 2:48 pm

Hi,

Can you point out which pots best for use in the 6mix?
Alpha 9mm, vertical D or T18?
Not exactly clear in the BOM
Thanks in advance

ROT8 tune mode

Post by nosamiam » Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:20 pm

I just finished a ROT8 and I'm loving it. There's one thing I can't figure out though. In tune mode there's no note output for me to listen to while I tune. The step lights yellow/orange when I select it but I can't hear anything to tune! Is there something I'm missing?

Just wanted to drop by and show some love. I've built a bunch of your modules, that KNIT is a serious banger. Thanks for all you do.

I'm very happy with my Knit too, bought from Pusherman.
One thing I'm curious about, the specs everywhere state it's 30mm deep, but when I removed it from my main case to install in a standard 4ms Pod, I realized that it's closer to 40mm.
I don't see how it could be constructed any differently, but I still wonder if there is a version that's 30mm?

I think it depends on where you measure from. Some manufacturers don't measure the PCB including the power cable, others do.

Oh I realise it's not an exact science, but even with no power cable connected, Knit sits proud from the rails in the Pod.
I did consider splitting the module, and trying to squeeze the lower PCB into the Pod somewhere else, and have them connected with Dupont cables, but that would probably be asking for trouble with shorts etc.
I used some 16mm M3 bolts in the end, with nuts as spacers, it's OK.

That's wild idea with the dupont cables hahaha. Glad the bolts and nuts worked for you! It's a great module for a pod.

Hello friends--I created a quick reference sheet for the incredible Antumbra Smog (micro Clouds), in case anyone finds it helpful. Here's a link. Please let me know if you have any comments/edits and I'll be glad to revise. It only addresses the standard mode (not alternative firmware or beta modes).
