### Rene 2/ANY: Pendulum Sequencing Tips with Direction Input

Suppose the number of steps in your sequence is N. A perfectly even pendulum is achieved with a clock division corresponding to 2N - 2. So a 4 step pendulum would require a clock division of 6.

If you want the sequence to advance one step with each pendulum iteration, which is a cool effect in its own right, use the formula 2N - 1. So an 8 step pendulum that advances one every iteration requires a clock division of 15.

Some bonus tips for Rene 2: you can also use the location CV to offset your sequence manually or with control voltage, and if you have a Tempi, you can generate very complicated sequences where you shuffle the clocks, lock into exact repeats, explore the entire set of possibilities, move around in snake modes or thru the Z-axis... it's a lot to explore.
