Can anyone who's used both summarize a comparison with the 223e?

i'm using both actually )

can't be directly compared, really...

on 220 there's no possibility (yet) to assign individual keys to the particular output nor to form the group, for example. no Y-axis either.

on 223e there're no zoned sequencing, recording, key clustering etc.

one should define what exactly is needed, i think

Am I correct that you can setup more than 1 latched sequence simultaneously? I assume if so they are all off the same clock?

the only mode without external clock is the capture mode which is a simple freerun recorder

you can connect as many as you wish from the same or different clocks but that still will be a parallel connection, to sequence them serially some clock dividers would be needed

well, the 220 history comes to its logical end, there's just one last unit left in stock and i don't think it stays there too long...

That was me, then. Very much looking forward to receiving the "end of history." And to new beginnings, for me and for you ;-)

well, folks...

i promised some news on the 220, so here they are:

THE 220e HARDWARE UPGRADE is to be ready soon

the price should be around $450-500

no need to mention that this allows our first product to be smoothly integrated into 200e system, all knobs/buttons/modes/preferences are stored and can be easily recalled. capture mode records not only key numbers but all that happens inside - knobs turning, pressure, etc. many bugfixes and improvements

i think there'd be separate thread about this... still considering...
