This whole record is on heavy rotation in my house/car.

Yes! Absolutely love him, have done since i heard one of his tracks on a compilation called Nigeria 70 a few years back. He's an interesting guy, have you read his back story?

yesss amazing and great the reissue has arrived. the OG copies of his records were too expensive

@ thebot - That 1st Nigeria 70 comp changed my musical life back when it came out. It wasn't long before I had stumbled onto Tony Allen/Fela and ...well, anyway...you probably get it.

I hadn't looked at it in a long while, until you mentioned it earlier today....Holy! what a classic comp. Can't wait to dig into it all over again.

I just started listening to Onyeabor...what a character. Seems like he almost invented the 16bit video game music genre but maybe it was just a coincidence...
