To follow up on this amazing suggestion, I can confirm that the Moog Theremini Gig Bag is also a perfect solution for fitting the Make Noise Powered Skiff. I couldn't find the other bag (Moog might of discontinued it).

It differs from the the other bag but has an external zipped pocket like that one:

It also has a nifty velcro closed section in the top half of the internal bag that is great for storing cables, etc.

I just got a makenoise skiff and it looks great!

I have not bought any modules yet. One question. What is the maximum depth of modules the case can accommodate?

Mine arrived yesterday. I was hopeful that I could have the case oriented so that it would zip while patched, but its not deep enough. Here's a pic, this is the only way to fit the case into the bag. I'm only planning on using this for a controller skiff but since my larger case is out of commission, I have to have a full voice, so now I have to re-patch it when i get to the gig. Otherwise I'm super happy with this setup.

that soft case looks great for the skiff! 104HP right?

I have the 104HP skiff, powered by uZeus so far and its been great, nice step up from a tiptop hek and a nicely stable desktop setup for my modules.

That looks super slick! Same idea here, gonna use it as a controller. Cant wait to get one!

Oddly enough, my Skiff appears to be a full 106HP. I know several others stated it was 105+ due to the position of the rail screws. Got that.

But here's a pic of my Skiff fully loaded...

Unless my math is wrong, I'm getting a full 106 HP worth of modules in there. I realize I have 2 blanks, but still...

It seems to have plenty of room for everything. Nothing is contacting the sides. It's packed, but I didn't have to force anything in there.

Maybe I got a "defective" Skiff or maybe one (or more) of my modules is a little bit narrow. Weird.

Build quality is very nice on this. Only complaint is I can't use nylon washers as the rails seem set a bit deep. Other then that, nice skiff.

To those of you who have the Moog Theremin case -- have you taken this thing on flights yet? The linear dimensions would be fine, I'm sure, but I'm wondering if they've given anyone a hard time about weight. Considering packing the skiff up for a trip to Australia!

Not even with 8mm screws? The ones that come bundled with modules are usually not long enough to fit washers with the sliding nut systems but 2,5x8mm screws fit perfectly.

same for me, 106HP is a bonus surprise I don't mind at all.
it may be that the modules are on the skinny end of their widths and the toleranc estackup after a dozen modules can give you extra HP

This is probably a ridiculous question, but the fear of frying modules always prevails and makes me over-cautious

I understand that the power brick which comes with the MN skiff accepts 100v-240v and 47Hz-63Hz -- if I'm traveling from the US to Australia, would I just need a simple adapter at the outlet end and the brick will take complete care of the voltage conversion?

No you just need an adapter for the connector conversion. Australia is 240v 50hz so no electrical changes necessary.

I don't think the M3 threads will fit in between the slots in the rail.

I recently purchased a MN powered skiff and it has ~105,5HP. Oh, and I could use nylon washers with the the M2.5 screws that came with it without any problems. Excellent quality skiff!
