Classic VCO and WFC: can they put out good low end?

I love their tone and complexity, but how are they for bass?

I can't tell from the limited recordings that I've heard.

I think it would be more a case of which filter you were using? All the oscillators go right down. Bass isn't really my thing so I don't have any examples.
