Linux driver for ES-8

Post by lazzarello » Sun Oct 15, 2017 6:05 pm

Would the ES-8 work with all I/O channels on a current Linux kernel? It appears that there are some 8 channel USB 2.0 audio interfaces like the Maudio Fast Track Ultra that present all I/O to the kernel. This video looks like it shows this happening.

The ES-8 is class compliant and so does not need a driver on Linux.

How do you choose between internal clock or external clock for the ADAT I/O on linux ?

Cheers,
