Anybody build and sell the special cable for ac coupled card

Post by Mercutio » Wed Aug 25, 2010 3:17 am

Hello,

Silent way looks great but unfortunately my audio card is not compatible with dc signal (Focusrite saffire LE) and my modular is in 5U.

The best solution looks like the use of "special cable". But where can i buy them ?

I'm not aware of anyone selling these.

Rather than buy expensive custom cables, you'd be much better off spending $50 on a decent soldering iron and doing them yourself. (In my opinion, anyway.)

I'm not DIY...

Why don't you make in great series such cable ?

Isn't it there the greatest argument to sell more tour silent way ?

The problem is that the simple custom cable solution works very differently according to the audio interface and the synth to which it's connected. So it's impossible to sell a single "off the shelf" cable that will work for everyone.

This is why I created the ES-1.

The MOTU Ultralite mk3 is pretty good value.
