tetrax > plumbutter?

Post by odditymedium » Fri Mar 08, 2019 7:21 am

i wanna use the tetrax to trigger hits on plumbutter's gongs and avdogs

for this i tried hooking up the orange outs from the tetrax to the green pulse ins of the gongs and avdogs

but it is erratic... not consistent. it only seems to make sounds when i REMOVE the cables

is something wrong with my tetrax, or my thinking, or my cables?!

if i connect the tetrax press gesture to the gong fm input, i do hear modulation

but if i connect press gesture or release gesture to gong pulse input, then it doesnt trigger it

why is this?

how do i hit a barre on the tetrax, and have a gong sound at the same time?

The pressure and release outputs of the organi have offset voltages built into their curves, you may have to process their signals with an attenuverter or comparator even to get the desired result of triggering something outside the 'ax
