Nice 5 octave kybd. Looks like it says 2,200 Euros ... that seems on par with other performance synths of that ilk. I wonder which keybed they've elected to use in that one? Since some of their MIDI controller kybds use FATAR beds I'm hoping it has a FATAR TP/9 or TP/9S.

"Dank onboard arpeggiator" ......   .... shit's DANK yo!!

There's actually a word missing in the text ("er" after "bietet").

That phrase in question roughly translates to

"Due to the on-board arpeggiator it provides a chord mode and more than 30 quickly accessible patterns, besides the usual options."
... why buy it for $100 when you can build it yourself for $150?

Anyway, this info isn't by Novation themselves but either by a store or a magazine that reviews stuff. That's obvious from the first line.

I emailed them some time ago about adding chord memory to the peak, and also a eq or digital multimode filter

It seems like they added something to the Peak architecture. The Peak had three filter toggles - LP, BP, HP.

The Summit has four. LP, BP, HP, and what looks like the word "wave" ... ?

EDIT:
:hyper:

"Three distortion points for each voice – pre-filter, post-filter and global – in an analogue signal chain. Paired with an analog multimode filter per voice (12/24dB slope) with additional dual filters mode architecture based on synth legend Chris Huggett‘s design for the OSCar."

Page 10:

So that toggle is to use dual filters! So like serial or parallel routing?

Oof that filter thingy. The limited filter stuff is the only thing I dislike about my Peak. :cloud:

Yes, I'm wondering about that dual filter thing too - does it 'borrow' the filters from voices 9-16 and turn it into an 8-voice synth when using dual filters? On a 16 voice synth, that could be a smart and flexible way to do it.

And yeah, all the questions about filter routing when using dual filters - serial? parallel? variable mix? Can you send different oscs to different filters?

THIS is what I’ve been hoping for! This could very well be the poly I purchase. It has everything I’ve wanted in a poly all in one place. I loved the peak but wanted a keyboard version. It’s like a Rev 2, Moog One, and a Prologue had a baby, with a little OB6 as well. Really fantastic! I cannot wait for demos. If I could swing this and a Matriarch this year I’d be a happy camper. Then onto eurorack....and a Crumar Mojo....and restoring my Rhodes, Crumar Ds2, and Fender Contempo.

Hello Everyone! I was commissioned by Novation to create 78 single patches and 64 multi patches for the launch of Summit. I wanted to share them with you so you can hear how it sounds:) There are two files, one for my single patches and one for multi patches which are either two single patches layered on top of each other or played across two keyboard zone. Within my sound design I wanted to emphasize patches that utilize complex routings for the Animate and mod wheel controls, along with the new dual filter architecture. This synth was an absolute joy to work with and I plan to use it as the main instrument for my debut album. I hope you enjoy and thank you for listening!

Ty , great patches. Winters come early.

Thanks in advance for the summit patches! If they're like your peak patches, they're going to be fantastic.

BTW, I am in the process of saving up for a moog one, but this synth also intrigues me in quite the same way. Has anyone done a comparison sheet or such of the two? I'm seeing a lot of similarities, and of course quite a few differences.
