DIY BNC Cables

Post by dankalmanson » Thu Oct 24, 2019 1:42 am

I've been looking to make a bunch of BNC cables for my mixers/monitors/projector etc. Does anyone have any good reviews or ideas on what cable to buy? I'm looking for PVC preferably but I am open to anything. :)

The Van Damme "plasma grade" rg59 is very soft and nice and comes in pretty colors

I bought a reel of belden 1855a mini coax off ebay and a double bubble compression crimper.

The Crimper is on the expensive side but it's so easy to make a cable with this system. Don't bother with the three piece types.
