Thought this might be of interest (Not my project, I'm just a backer)

I'm really interested in this, but only have interest in a Eurorack module of it. Kind of stuck in limbo. Will support if he gets that extra grand, but don't feel like paying that much for a potentially non-Eurorack device.

This looks immediately likable. Anything this can do (in terms of the feedback trail) not seen on something like the Vidiot?

Definitely intrigued at the low cost and immediate LSD visuals! Pleased to see he's met his goal, too.

Looks interesting. I feel the same way- I'd only be interested in a eurorack version.

Absolutely. There will be “8 knobs, 8 sliders, and rather a lot of buttons” on the MIDI controller, all mapped to do crazy things. There are already features like a ‘chaotic colorizer’ and some fractal goodies, with more fun stuff in the works. Looks like this is going to be fantastic..

A module version would be great, but a standalone box means that I won’t need to find rackspace for it. :tu:

Awesome - Yeah I'm in the boat where if it is not a module, I definitely prefer it!

Two questions, anyone might know?

1) There's no difference in the $90 - $200 versions for the hardware, except for external items (midi controllers and camera) - meaning they're all for the same Waaave Pool, right?

2) Any picture of the box itself? Not sure if the sliders and buttons are referred to in the midi contoller.

Wonderful acid happening in the videos:

36 hours to go, and it’s almost up to $6000.

$5000 was the threshold for a module version to become more likely, so things are looking good.. :tu:

I reached out to him and he said the following in response to the Eurorack question:

"well the funding has gone pretty well on this push so as promised once i
get all the presold models out for this batch i will start doing some tests
on cv friendly versions! keep in touch i will need to have some folks
available for helping beta test, check out the video_waaaves facebook group
for updates on that end of things"
