Adding S-trig gate to Yarns/marbles

Is there any reason for why this wouldn't work? From a hardware point of view.

It would need a voltage source as s-trig alone doesn't provide a voltage, but rather short it.

As this is for yarns/marbles, I assume you mean an s-trig output.

In it's simplest form, that just needs a resistor and a general purpose NPN transistor (e.g. BC547) for each s-trig output. Resistor 10k, 47k or so.

Existing (V-trig) gate in on left, s-trig output on right.

It's just about possible to build this into an adaptor cable.
