Yeah I do a lot of stripboard stuff and adapt MFOS, etc so the extra depth is handy. Plus it's stable and less likely to move, a less deep case gets stacked on top of it, and so on...

Been busy building a small analog voice this year:
017-modular_3dcase.jpg
3d-printed case (46hp) with £7 dc power supply and bus board (meanwell dc-dc switcher - runs from 9-18v dc wall wart)

3340 vco (on-off-on switches on fm and sync)
3320 lpf (attenuverter on fm)
3320 hpf (attenuverter on fm)
lpg
3310 dual ASR
2164 Dual VCA (can chain an indefinite number together to create a huge vc-mixer/multi-channel vca) via jumpers on the back.
Headphone amp (1 ohm output impedance - can drive low impedance cans eg 32 ohm but has enough current to drive 600 ohm cans easily)

All with reverse polarity protection.

Ideas inspired from loads and loads of places !!!! (Acknowledgements in the schematics)

I plan on uploading the files to my github when I have cleaned them up.

Oh, I figured that's what you built, which circuit or pcb did you use?

I'm building these small standalone synth-modules.
Every module has its own build in psu and they are daisy chained with standard dc-dc jack cables.

vco - vco - filter - filter - format jumper/unity mixer
lfo - sequencer - usg - vca/mix - vca/mix

I had a HexInverter Liquid HiHat board laying around so I designed a dual vca + decay envelope "extander". I call it the Liquid HiHat XL. The LHH voices are normalized to the external input switched jacks, so you can you can plug anything in and make it a "drum". The temporary panel finally arrived from Ponoko.... so here it is.

Stay at home time is DIY time...

Had a Korg monotron DUO here and always thought that it sounds cool but can't be played seriously in a set. So why not put it in the rack?! It's a fairly easy build, all necessary solder points are there. And on top the housing fits perfectly into eurorack!

Ack, the attempted update last night screwed up the recently posted images here and elsewhere. Hopefully this will get fixed.

Anyway, I finished this -

Nice! The nuts look great... got a pcb and panel on the way - couldnt resist it - I really dont need another oscillator right now, but I’m a glutton for bling and it looks like fun....

that's cool. how is your typical DIN Sync input designed in terms of input protection? maybe an active solution clamping signals to 5V makes sense...

of course you can also use DIN Sync outputs to control your modular or sequencers / drum machines with trigger inputs. i built this, which works a treat: http://www.florian-anwander.de/a100/sync2clock/

MFOS dual attack release in banana blacet drag. I tried out using black on white plexi for the first time and dig how it turned out...

Modified TR-909 Handclap and Rimshot for Eurorack.
Mods for the Handclap are those of Colin Fraser plus a switch to change the noise source from
the digital 909 (from a separate module) to a 808-like noise transistor (sounds somewhat lower in pitch).
Furthermore a tune poti was added: The original R207 (150k) was replaced by a 500k lin poti
and a 2k resistor in series (or 1M lin poti and 1M resistor in parallel as realized here).
The remaining half of the LM13700 was used for a simple linear VCA. Thus the three extra jacks.
I've posted the Rimshot modification already in the DIY section.

i kind of like it, think i might leave it this way as a commemorative special. anyway as its not obvious, its a toppo twf on the left and a haible tau on the right under the tape.

when you dont have access to schaeffer panels and the like, all of a sudden you see the logic of the serge paperface graphic approach....aka the i-could-do-that-with-a-sharpie moment of clarity :)

Done several diy PCB kits this year:
- Patching Panda Copycat and Petit Mix
- uJove
- Antumbra Cara
- and currently in the queue: Antumbra DVCA and STModular ADSR (still waiting for parts from Thonk though)

And a selfmade one: diy copy of Doepfer A182-2
