Definitely looks the part! I’d assumed the matrix would be abbreviated and it looks to be that way here. But it’ll be interesting to see the specs on it.

whoo! Will be curious how they implement the mod matrix. Having a zillion routing options doesn't necessarily translate to a poly.

One word: Hydrasynth.
IMHO they have cracked the dilemma of making the perfect user interface. Matrix, macros and all.

Glad to see we are getting closer to a reveal. I like the integrated ribbon into the wood above the keyboard...thats slick, and definitely interested in knowing what's going on in the cheek panel. I wonder if they licensed the Touche design or if they built something similar, or different? I hope they have made some improvements on the key bed. I found the Matrixbrute keys to be a bit cheap feeling, at least the ones I played. Not a fan of some of the design elements of the Arturia stuff, definitely not what I would call "elegant," It's no P6 or Moog One (if you're going after that woody synth look, which it appears they are). I wonder if they will have a "Poly Touch" key bed given their association with Glen Darcy. I wonder if this will basically be a polyphonic Matrixbrute or if they have given it something new to compete in the ever growing hybrid sector. The Matrix line of synths does sound great! And I love the physical matrix implementation. Can't wait to learn more.

Or the Quantum or Moog One for that matter. But they are still using the touch panel here so hopefully they have the ability to easily modulate a given knob.

... why buy it for $100 when you can build it yourself for $150?

well, the sound on the introducing video is just what I expected, and I don´t like it...kinda harsh for my taste...others could disagree

The demo is certainly on the bright side, couldn't detect the harshness (but then again years of DJ'ing have definitely dulled my upper hearing range). I do like it. Moawrrr demo's are needed!

I'd like to hear more but six voices on a 61 note key polysynth is a little on the meagre side. Eight voices would have been so much better.

highly subjective, my friend...I expect more silkyness from a synth like this, so this this bright oscillators and the steiner filter resonance hits my ears badly

yes, agreed. beyond just being a budget number, it really encumbers long-release pad/string sound playing. that being said, this seems like it will quite a bold sounding synth so you may not need more than that for many sounds.
