Live 10 CV Instrument - Detune?

Post by Milanm » Mon May 18, 2020 1:39 pm

Hello all,

Anyone using the CV tools pack much? I feel like I might be being daft, I can't seem to find a way to detune the 1v/oct signal once calibrated.

It might not exist, Silent Way has the feature, seems like such an easy win I was surprised to not see it.

I do. Just create an LFO which outputs in the same CV channel as your V/OCT (no explicit mixing needed). LFO should output 0.05 out of the +/-10V for the best effect but you can obviously mix it to taste.

Also remember to disable the LFO when tuning your VCO

I also LOVE mixing different LFOs this way. Endless possibilities

 Oh course! Can you tell I'm new to Max4Live :hihi:

Presumable you can use CV Utility to output a controllable offset to change the detuning too. Huge thanks!
