I have a question though what have you guys used to flash it with? I have a USB ASP and a st link v2 are any of these suitable?
stlinkv2 is ideal

Where you come from is gone, where you thought you were going to, weren't never there! And where you are, ain't no good unless you can get away from it!

Be sure they are common cathode.
You have to check forward voltage, luminous intensity. Maybe change R70 to R77 value. Be sure you don't draw too much curent from the shift registers.

Exactly this ! (Simon has warned before about changing the leds and being careful of the shift registers - the leds he chose were pretty specific for the shift registers iirc)

Hello everyone, nearly everything works perfect with my Performer, but every now and then it seems like it swallows a clock impulse or sends a reset (I haven't figured that out yet because it sometimes takes a long time to happen), which brings all the other sequencers (slaves) out of their timing. It happens sporadic, sometimes every one or two hours. When I stop and start everything, it runs as it should for some time until it happens again. Has anyone of you also experienced this? Firmware Version: 0.1.36
:help:

Here is a video from today. I happens at second 0:21

Does anyone know whether the Performer allows for micro timing on sequences? I had a look through the manual and get impression that notes must be quantised to the grid?

"Future Support of an APC Mini makes a lot of sense - especially if the sliders could be utilised to enter note cv values in groups of 8."

Yes, please please please!!!

EDIT: i was able to locate one

It’s non-commercial so anyone selling it would be violating the licence.

my understanding was if someone were to sell a build, the designer just wanted people to clear with him first. i'm sure their intention isn't to limit the module exclusively to a DIY community, but rather to curb parasites like tall dog and those other companies who make a living ripping off mutable. if someone were to offer their build services, i'd be happy to reach out for permission before finalizing a deal.

And I suspect for one-offs there are likely to be no issues - I just feel sad when I see them being sold in large numbers after automated assembly.... it just devalues small designers. (It takes literally 5 minutes to create the pcb assembly files, upload them to a chinese pcb fab and a week later you have loads of assembled modules to sell - it’s no effort for sellers to pump out loads...)

The idea is that you want to find a builder person, like me or forestcaver, and ask them if they'd be willing to build you one (I wouldn't - that was hypothetical). And they could charge you for the parts, and maybe a bit for your time, but not do it in bulk and making huge profits. See?

Does anyone know where I can buy a PCB for this? Pusherman website is sold out.

Just bought one second hand, and all seems to work fine except that it when I swing the incoming clock (coming from a Pam's) it reacts differently than other modules clocked by the same source (an Eloquencer and a Euclidean Circles...)
I would really like to adjust the swing for all my clocked modules from one source...
Hopefully someone has an idea to remedy this?

EDIT: ok, so I solved it by having the performer as the master, clocking the pams and everything has the same swing! (needed to fiddle with the ppqn settings on Pam's and the divisor out settings on the Performer a bit, but now it works!) Just need to get used to a different play button now :)

I was reading at the github page the possibility of adding a metropolis/ryk M-185 style of sequencing but it seems it was in development on 2019 and no news since then, anyone knows something about it? this would be such a GREAT update

Hi all, I got a Performer last week. HOly Cow am I in love with this thing.

When I read in the manual that you can CV record into the Curve tracks and essentially make automation lanes I went   :woah: :woah:

My only complain about the module is that there are some three-button/three-handed combinations that need to be made for advanced features. This comes up when CV recording into Curve tracks.

Let's say I'm using MI Shades DC output in the Performer CV In to manually draw a shape. How can I hit record, draw in the curve within a single loop of the sequencer, and stop recording before the sequence loops starts to overwrite the curve? Can I get the Performer to run the pattern a single time and then stop? (Don't tell me to buy a Planar! :) )

I understand the sentiment, but Tall Dog doesn't sound like a parasite to me:

Anyway it's certainly off topic but just wanted to put that link up to perhaps soften your judgement.
