I have seen a situation where, one component which had been discontinued but still had large stocks available, suddenly evaporated.
It seems that another company found a use for the component and basically bought all the remaining stock.
The remaining stock would have lasted for years at the rate it was being used, but another company decided to buy them all.
The product using this microchip had to go through a redesign and ultimately never got reproduced.
Companies that manufacture microchips will make a large run at the end of life of a
component so that there will be some available for quite some time.
But it is not always enough.
So, end of life for another sensor division product.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the Maleko Gargoyles modules: Anti, Uncle and the white and black knobbed LPG's .... seriously have their own character!
the Richter versions are identical except for the panel and minor changes to fix a couple gremlins. a push button instead of the push/pull knob for LFO mode. they changed the panels because the Wiard brand was taken over by someone who Grant gave it to. So the wiard was rebranded Richter and malekko took the opportunity to revise the boards to fix the issues that many people complained about. :youkids:

so, if you want the anti/uncle.. they're still available... just with different panels..
Oh yea, well I knew this .... but I like the graphics :sb: It's the vibe :tu:

Yeah, I have slowly tracked down 3 Sport Mods and love the module. Super flexible and interesting.

I'd throw out the Spock logic module by Intellijel (have tracked down 2 over the last 4 years or so) and the Dixie I (would love a second one of those).

The VSL VCF-74 is such a lovely sounding filter.

I like the 1st gen Harvestman modules a lot. Much more grungy and immediate than the newer stuff.

The Intellijel Quadra+expander is my favorite bread and butter function generator.

I’m not sure how I missed this my first time around: the Kilpatrick K2579. A terrific, powerful, and well-thought-out sequencer in only 14hp.

Spock would have been my answer, but I think there is something very akin to it showing up in Frequency Central's new Reset Simulation?
