It's beter to have cords and not need them than to need them and not have them.

When in wavetable mode, you can modulate the ph2 in to change the wavetables of a bank. You can't change banks with cv though. There are 128 wavetables in each bank.
Sweet! I will give this a shot next time I'm around the Cyclebox!

i recorded some glitchy all-over-the-place noisy rhythmic stuff using the cyclebox as the sole sound source. the cb is in 1 shot mode, 0010 (osc 1, 2), modulated by a variety of bits. the cb lag and lead go into a mixer and then off to malekko output with no vcas involved in the audio.

rhythm and percussion aren't usually my thing, but the one-shot kind of begs for it.

Saturday night and I finally got a chance to check out my Cyclebox. :omg:

This is one seriously awesome oscillator. I'm soooo glad I talked myself into buying it. In fact I probably would have paid :75: more!

Nice little cheat sheet, if you could post it that would be much appreciated.

Got my cyclebox last Thursday and just started to play around with it on the weekend. This thing is really awesome!

Nice patch. Sounds very punchy --- what VCA/VCF are you using?

Thanks. That's the Plan B M13, triggered by Maths using Linear curve,
sequenced by NoiseRing into uScale. Maths/M13 triggered by Wogglebug.

Need to read the Woggle manual too.

It's such a pity that Plan B didn't manage to keep their act together, that LPG sounds pretty close to *perfect*. Sigh.

Thanks. Get one of the next batch!!
This is my favorite digital oscillator that I've owned.
(VCDO, PH, HD, e350)
Of course they all have their strengths and weaknesses/character.

But all that considered, I think the Cyclebox has the most range
of possible texture, from clean and precise to filthy. And it has the
balls I couldn't really get out of a PH or e350 (now being re-paneled
for 5U dub use).

Yeah, he made some nice designs. But the M13 is fairly easily to obtain
in the BST.

Here is the cylonix as an LFO driving an analog osc.

mode 0110 is used (The most significan bits of osc 1,2, & 3 are interleaved) I am using the hex saw on osc 1.

Great idea, i have'nt thought about a hybrid approach splitting the lead and lag to have one doing lfo and the other audio. :sb:

I'll have to try this.

You can get some pretty interesting tones when amplitude modulating one with the other while modulating the OSC2 phase :-)

I missed this whole thread.

Some of the timbres in the video are unbelievable. You could have a one module synth with this thing.

Any idea when the next batch will be available? I was considering a HD for my first digi osc but I think I'm going to go with this instead.

The next batch should be ready in mid-late June.
