Just a note to the Muff frac heads I have 3 of the Oakley Frac Lags left and I doubt I will be doing another run until things pick up

Life is getting hard in the synth building world
Cheers :guinness:

:( Sorry to hear it - please hang in there!

It's tough in the synth buying world as well - although not nearly as tough as the builders have it

I should be ok I think :russian:

It’s just that I can’t afford to put the money into the Lag When I know people are asking for the ring mod
I am also trying to get a stock built up of all moduels so they ship in 2 days of order but that’s allot of cash sat on the shelf
I have 24 different modules on the go and another 6 in the pipe line :hyper:
Cheers :guinness:

Oakley Equinoxe is the only phaser I have owned/heard that is as good as the TC MK12. I had a moogerfooger phaser, which was excellent, but I thought the Eqiunoxe sounded better.

does the equinoxe sound better than the blacet stonz? i have a stonz (based on the small stone circuit yes?) but have never been 100% happy with the sound, don't know why, just a bit thin, and the resonance cranked doesn't sound nice to me.

any chance of you doing the oakley vco in frac? would it be doable in the same size as the blacet vco? i'd definitely order one if so!

I wouldn’t say the Equinoxe sounds better but it dose sound different (I have both and I am in no hurry to give ether up)
My favourite phaser effect is 2 Equinoxes paned hard left and right with the internal LFO of one sweeping left up while right is sweeping down

At the moment the VCO PCB size makes a 1 Frac space hard to do

I did a Panel for a dual VCO in 2 full Frac spaces but in the end the customer never had it built

There is talk that an Oakley VCO may be redesigned to fit both the 3U formats in the future

thanks for the info paul!

both the stonz and the equinoxe are ota based i think. the sound samples on the oakley page sound quite similar to the stonz to me. i'll have to think about it. i'm quite enamoured with the synthasonic one at the mo!
