Flame Tame Machine updates anyone?

Author Flame Tame Machine updates anyone?
Electronic Battle
Hello

Not owning many euro modules (MFB SEQ-01 is one of the three, and it is brillliant), I will certainly be buying the Tame Machine:

and

The last update there was June, saying that it would be on sale at the end of this year.

Any guess as to the price?
Will the feature set/front panel be as shown in the URLs?
When is it expected?

I just ordered a MW case and my first dozen or so modules today, and though I was really wanting to get a quantizer in there, the promise of this little sweetheart made me hold off for the moment.

I also heard someone mention in passing that there's one coming from TipTop...is that just the z-dsp, or an actual free-standing quantizer of some sort?

edit: I guess the answer to that second part is in this thread.

An update:

The expected availability will now be February 2010, according to the last update which was on December 17, 2009.

http://flame.fortschritt-musik.de/news_preview2008.htm lists the functions

and

shows the new layout (slightly different from before, I think).

It's February! I think we're spoiled by having so many manufacturers participate in these boards, post Twitter updates, etc. Unfortunately, Flame is not one of them, so I'm bumping this thread in case anyone acquires new info.

I would also very much like this info.

I have a list of modules beginning to take shape - interesting, seeing as I had always planned on a large format (probably Modcan A). The list comprises of an E350, this Tame machine and probably the TipTop (Z8500?) quantiser too (or a second Tame machine). If those could be euro Banana, that would be the best of the best for me and my aspirations.

From another thread here, comes this Tame machine info:

The divider section should make a lot of sense if you've played with a clockwork. It's just got some extra bells and whistles. Basically, you clock it with the tap tempo button, or you feed it a 16th note clock in the jack at the bottom. From that, the dial in the center gives you divisions or multiplications of that signal. The gate knob controls the gate length (pulse width) of the divided/multiplied signal.

The real genius is the CV-2 knob, though. On the left half you basically have a manual CV dial, giving you 0V to 5V. Then you have a section that gives you random CV, and two LFOs (saw and reverse saw). The beauty comes in when you plug the CV-2 out back into the quantizer in. You can play the quantizer with the 0V-5V side of the knob, or leave it on random to have it spit out random notes that are in-scale, or put it on one of the LFOs to get quantized arpeggios. With the CV recording capabilities, you can record 1, 2, or 4 bars of a randomly generated sequence and have it automatically loop at the end of the recording (therefore turning it from quantized S&H-style nonsense into a quantized riff). Really really powerful stuff
