Hi Jason, I really like "burn the tables" (to my own surprise as I'm more into analog than digital oscillators hihi). Could you share which wave table modules you've used for creating the track?

Thanks! From the liner notes:

Burn The Tables. This piece was created as a showcase for digital wavetable synthesis. A basic synthesized kick-snare pattern was subjected to extreme wavetable distortion, via Modcan's 22B Blacet/Wiard Miniwave module. The 22B also forms the bassline sound, and in some sections the wave selection is sequenced for abrupt timbral variations. Additional digital grit is also provided by the WMD Geiger Counter wavetable distortion module.

Thanks for the info, Jason, but which module is playing the lead sound?

BTW: Do you have liner notes for the other tracks as well? hyper

No prob... Not clear to me what would qualify as the lead sound on this track. Happy to tell you which module did what, just specify which sound.

There are technical notes like that for every track on the album - I'm going to have to leave it though, as an incentive to buy the album. It's on the CD/vinyl artwork. If you buy mp3s, iTunes DL comes with a PDF booklet, or if you buy it digitally elsewhere, I'd be happy to email you the PDF with proof of purchase.

That was a basic synth sound, can't remember the details of it, but it was probably all analog, except that it is processed with the WMD Geiger Counter which is giving it that digital/metallic quality. At some points I was sequencing the wavetable selection which gives the sequence that really steppy quality.

PDF booklet is supposed to be an "iTunes exclusive" but I'm happy to email it to anyone who bought the album digitally through other channels. Thanks for buying!
