That Model 28 rocks, I'm having loads of fun with mine.

Only complaint is that the voltage out of the accent jacks is not enough to trigger any of my drum modules without getting amplified first. odd, as the regular (non-accent) outs are indeed hot enough to accomplish this on their own.

The accent outs are however nice to give a tiny kick to a resonant filter though, just a nice little accent, ironically enough ;)

Really really fun module!

Mr. Muff... what all euro modules do you have now then bro? I know you have the Z5000 which... I'm ordering soon. I was going to order it today but I need more clock sources and I felt the 28 was more important at the second, lol.

Any other fun things you are doing with it?

Cool stuff, can't wait to hear the secret :8

Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been stupid stupid busy lately, and my car just broke which is seriously compounding logistics over here....

Anyway to answer your question, yep I have a Z5000. I also have a Plan B Model 28, and something else I can't really talk about yet.
Also waiting on the imminent arrival of, sorry to say, something else that I won't be able to talk about for a while, however I guarentee that it is something that will have an immediate appeal to every single person using a modular synth - its something that is so useful, so immediately obvious, you wonder why no-one has done it before. I suspect the key feature of this MAY be available in the Buchla 200e, however I have not specifically checked. Anyway, believe me that this is not hype, it is something of raw and immediate, unobscured utility that EVERYONE will immediately recognize, and slap themselves for not thinking of it first.

That's all I can say right now, but I really am so excited and I wish I could say more.

This is pretty much the same thing you said about the Z5000, minus the Buchla bit. I wasn't all that impressed by that module.

i'm pretty sure i never said the Z5000 would be of an immediate utility value to everyone out there :hyper:

i'm talking about a completely different type of thing here. not an effect, not a special filter or something, and not something you could get from patching a handful of existing modules together. it's something that is, as far as I can tell, completely missing in the world of existing modules, and something that's immediately obvious in how it makes managing and working with your modular much easier.

anyway, i'm not going to play it up more than this. i only brought it up because Luigi posed the question. i don't know how long you will have to wait for more information, so it may be wise to forget about it.

when the time comes, you'll see ;) i don't care if you don't trust me. you'll see.

one other thing - i do believe i would have said about the Z5000, something along the lines of "nothing like this is available in the modular scene"

regardless your opinion on the quality or usefulness of the module, i still think the statement runs true......

im thinking pin matrix.
or preset manager. so you can patch a bunch of stuff up, leave it that way, and the preset will automatically route a to b to c or whatever, so you can recall patches by loading them.

And I think that Z5000 is fucking badass btw.... I'm ordering one as soon as I pay for these 3 modules I just ordered. ;)

How it the hell would one hook this up internally? I imaging you have to solder it to the modules?
