Looks totally rad. He has an Indiegogo campaign if you wanna support him and get one: Elektrosluch 2

Inspiring!

Must get my pickups out again and start pointing them at unusual objects to explore more of my own sonic realms wink

Cool. Glad to see you on here. I'm looking forward to finding out how it plays with modular. Great project!

Greetings, mrkva!

I visited the indiegogo site and I'm very tempted...

However, I would like to know how well this would interface with my modular, Marantz digital recorder, and audio card.

What sort of voltage levels are output by this device?

What sort of connection is provided for output?

I will support your project if I can make straight forward connections with my devices. My knowledge of electrical engineering is very limited (sigh) and I need reassurances that the interface/connection can be made simply and with damage to my electronics.

I look forward to your answers!

Thanks
mrkva
Hey

>>What sort of voltage levels are output by this device?

regular ‘line level’ voltages. if you check the video - i recorded that directly from device to my camera. worked no problems with zoom recorder as well.

>>What sort of connection is provided for output?

small (1/8”) stereo jack. so if you have 1/8” line input, you’ll just need jack-jack cable...

Oh yeah! So many electronics to sample then loop.

I'm in... ordered...

Hey Jonas!

Didnt realize you were on here! Really looking forward to this coming out!

Received one of these in the mail the other day. Pretty cool listening to a leap motion controller.

Adore mine and Jonas is bloody brilliant!

Just got mine, super fun. Try deleting a lot of files from a thumb drive and listening to it during a Secure Empty Trash --

Ooh er! Will do!
Turning up and down the brightness of an iPad/iPhone is fun too!

Hello everyone,

proud to present a new version of Elektrosluch - Elektrosluch 3!

Elektrosluch 3 is a device for electromagnetic listening. It allows one to discover sonic worlds of electromagnetic fields, surrounding our every step. Just plug your headphones & explore.

What is new on Elektrosluch 3: fully enclosed and more ergonomic design, simple single potentiometer operation, higher gain, audiophile-grade WIMA capacitors, highly increased protection of the sensors

Pre-order here: https://zvukolom.org/product/elektrosluch-3-pre-order/

Let me know if you have any questions!
Love, Jonas

I'm fucking game for this one. Pre-ordered!

bumping to see how people are liking this..., holla!
Feinstrom
I have one and I like it a lot!
Jonas is such a nice guy to deal with - I accidentally (and clumsily) broke one end of the plastic plate, and he sent me three spare ones for free!

That thing is a lot of fun, and it can't be a coincidence that it is exactly the same size as the Zoom Q3HD, making it very useful for stereo electronic field recording.
The stereo sensors allow for very spacey effects.
I can't wait to use the Elektrosluch 3 live!

Cheers,
Bert

Here's another lower fidelity version that's easy to put together
as DIY with instructions available via search.

This one is no lomger available atm
http://getlofi.com/shop/electric-guitar-pickup

I have the dual pickup box and it receives all the same EMF.
I use TV remotes alot as a rhythmic sources of noise.
Cheap electret microphones work well with the old fluorescent
lighting tubes, that aren't in use in many places anymore these days.
No offence mrkva. I'm just suggesting the DIY for the those on
a budget. I paid a total of $35 (including shipping) for a pcb with
two electrets and an already assembled box with two guitar pickups.
Yours is the swanky, space-age looking, hightech version! applause

This is so interesting. Reminds me of ghost hunting.

Cool thing. Have read about this kind of stuff. Looks like it would be pretty easy to build something like this. An analogue radio is good for picking up this sort of electrical hash too. Try putting a MW radio next to a PC, laptop or other digital device. You could pickup some awesome noises from the old CRT tube TVs using a radio, the noises would change in synch with changes of scene in the TV program being viewed.
