MOTM 510 Wave Warper

Post by Funky40 » Thu Dec 17, 2009 3:15 pm

hi,

have finished my MOTM510 that weekend.
ok, i have a 100R Resistor insetad of the Factor pot, so i din't know the whole story .
so far i can say: :yay: :yay: :yay: thanks !

Now, question :
can i add a CV control for the Warp ?
the Warp pots are just adding a CV offset, so i thought i have just to add a mixerstage to each warp and a attenuated Warp-CV input. That easy ?

a) I have PLENTY of 100ohm pots. drop me an email and I will send you one.

b) there is no way to CV the FACTOR control, it is resistive. But the most dramatic effects are CVing WARP Y anyway :bananaguitar:

you missunderstood me.
the question was how to CV the Warp

hmmmm.... ...just adding a invertingamp with 1:1 gain and then connect over a 22K to ( second pad of ) R6, R13, R20 ?
Or is the Offset in allready the same as i would add another offset to the junction where the Warp pot is ? ----> offset CV in = WARP CV ?

Remember the 'Warp' is a mathematical *combination* of all *3* individual warps : X, Y and Z.

Please read the Theory of Operation section in the back of the manual.
